Yuto Horigome joins Red Bull.
Japanese skateboarder Yuto Horigome, the first-ever Olympic gold medalist in skateboarding, has officially joined Red Bull as a sponsored athlete, marking a significant move in his career. Known for his technical precision and effortless style, Horigome’s partnership with Red Bull aligns him with some of the biggest names in action sports. This collaboration is expected to further elevate his presence in the global skateboarding scene, providing him with additional resources and opportunities to push the boundaries of street skating. With major competitions ahead, including the Paris 2024 Olympics, Red Bull’s support could help him continue to dominate the sport at the highest level.

The Scoot or Die scooter competition took place on March 8, 2025, at the Sportpark Lissfeld in Linz, Austria. Organized by Chilli Pro Scooter, this event attracted riders from various nationalities, offering divisions for Juniors (12+), Seniors (13+), Pro Riders, and an open Street category. Notably, Maty Pekárek secured first place in the Street category, expressing his excitement about returning to riding despite an ankle injury.
The competition provided a platform for both beginners and seasoned riders to showcase their skills, fostering community engagement and enthusiasm for the sport.
The wildest event of the year is back: Florideah Swampfest.
The Florideah Swampfest 2025 is scheduled for March 13–15, 2025, at Waldo Motorsports in Waldo, Florida. Established in 2016 by professional BMX rider Trey Jones, Swampfest celebrates BMX and skateboarding culture, drawing pro riders and fans worldwide to experience unique wooden ramps, custom metal railings, and a concrete bowl. The event offers camping options, with both reserved campsites and primitive camping available.
