Sora Shirai clinched the title at the 31st Annual Tampa Pro skateboarding contest, held at the Skatepark of Tampa in Florida.
The 23-year-old from Kanagawa, Japan, delivered an impeccable run, highlighted by a Caballerial flip to backside lipslide, securing him the first-place finish at Tampa Pro 2025 and a $10,000 prize.
Yuto Horigome, also from Japan, and winner of Tampa Pro 2023 and 2024, secured second place. While Peru’s Angelo Caro, UWS Extreme Barcelona 2022 and MUS 2021 champ, took third. Angelo also won the Best Trick award for his flawless tre flip to nosebluntslide that earned a Wildcard to Street League in Santa Monica.
The competition showcased a diverse international lineup, including seasoned professionals like Felipe Gustavo and Kelvin Hoefler, as well as emerging talents.
