Adrenalinové Centrum Karviná indoor skatepark (CZ) destroyed by flames when a firecracker was set off in its foam pit
A fire at the Indoor Skatepark hall near the summer swimming pool close to the Kovonský Bridge kept six firefighting units busy.
According to the news site iDNES.cz, the police are investigating a young Polish man in connection with the fire. Reports suggest that he allegedly threw a firecracker into foam padding at the scene.
Residents of Karviná noticed thick black smoke rising into the sky around 10:15 AM, but it was unclear where exactly it was coming from and what was burning.
“The exact cause of the fire is still under investigation, and the damage has been estimated at 5.8 million CZK. Thanks to the firefighters’ intervention, assets worth 2.5 million CZK were saved,” added Langerová.

New Skatepark in Candelaria, Canary Islands
Situated adjacent to the Bruno Alberto Sabina football field, the project officially commenced in September 2024, following the signing of the replanteo act. The skatepark’s design, selected through community participation, features a bowl area that integrates seamlessly with the surrounding landscape, promoting inclusive urban planning. Renowned architect Daniel Yábar Ramos, known for his expertise in skatepark design, is overseeing the project.
The total investment of €264,236.50 is a collaborative effort between the Candelaria Town Council and the Cabildo Insular de Tenerife.
