Urban World Series, the international project dedicated to the promotion of urban sports in all its facets, is in the spotlight on the global sports scene. This year, the BMX Street contest returns with a bang to the Extreme Barcelona stage for its 15th anniversary, marking an exciting milestone after several years of absence from this prestigious event.

Confirmed competitors include some of the biggest names in the BMX Street world, including Courage Adams, Alex Donnachie, Alex Kennedy, Mati Lasgoity and Anthony Perrin. These elite athletes will battle it out in the Street Plaza during the qualifying rounds and finals, promising a spectacle full of amazing tricks and thrilling stunts.

Charismatic category leader Courage Adams will headline the competition, joining other top international athletes to compete in the Street Plaza, guaranteeing a level of competition that is second to none.

What makes this edition particularly good is a combination of key factors. Firstly, the significant increase in prize money has attracted outstanding talent from around the world. Secondly, the Urban World Series organising team and its dedicated staff have been working tirelessly to ensure that this edition is unforgettable.

In addition, four of the participants come from the BMX Street Esportcat Extreme qualifiers, which have been held in various locations throughout Catalonia. These events, supported by the Consell Català de l’Esport, culminated in a spectacular final at the Calafell skatepark on 2 September, giving the talented local competitors the chance to take on the best in the world at Extreme Barcelona.

Street BMX will take centre stage alongside other exciting categories such as the BMX PARK MEN & WOMEN UCI C1 Competition, the Hot Wheels Superchargers Junior Final and the PARA BMX Contest, which will also take place in the Street Plaza. With this variety of competitions, the event promises to offer a unique experience for all urban and extreme sports fans. Once again, the Urban World Series consolidates its position as a leader in the promotion of urban sports around the world, and its influence continues to grow on the international scene.
