Paris Becomes the Battleground for an Explosive Third Edition of Street Clash

    • 8 epic battles full of bangers, strategy and fun time. A third edition for the books.

    • The french rider Leonard Bometon takes the win with a such an epic ending at Palais de Tokyo, one of the main spots in Paris.

Street Clash lands in the French scootering epicenter — the city of Paris — to host the third edition of this unique competition format. After a successful first edition in the streets of Barcelona in 2022 and another strong showing in Lyon in 2023, expectations were high for the return of the event.

The most famous online street scooter game-turned–real-life contest has leveled up since its debut. New city, new spots, and some of the best street scooter riders in the world:
Leonard Bometon, Anthony Michlik, Hugo Strauss, Maty Pekarek, Sanoussi Diarra, Alexandre Bailly, Thomas Mendy, and Joel Ingold.

These eight top riders faced off across three iconic Parisian locations, each serving as the battleground for a contest stage: Quarterfinals at Irvy Ledges, Semifinals at Gare d’Austerlitz, and Finals at the Palais de Tokyo.

Street Clash also featured a top-tier staff to ensure the event remained fair and legit, with judges Ewen Dausse, Maxime Bouzid, and Sinan Alfaour officiating the head-to-head battles.

Here’s a quick recap of the third edition of Street Clash:

Irvy Ledges: Tech Tricks and Bangers

The quarterfinals took place at the iconic Irvy Ledge spot — the perfect playground filled with ledges, manual pads, banks, and plenty more.

The four quarterfinal battles were the following:

  • Maty Pekarek vs. Hugo Strauss

  • Thomas Mendy vs. Anthony Michlik

  • Sanoussi Diarra vs. Leonard Bometon

  • Joel Ingold vs. Alexandre Bailly

The first battle set the tone for the contest: Maty showcased his versatility and managed to defeat Extreme Barcelona 2024 street winner Hugo Strauss.

The second battle was a fun one. Thomas landed one of the best tricks of the entire contest — a tailwhip rewind gap — but it still wasn’t enough to secure a spot in the semifinals.

The third quarterfinal, Sanoussi Diarra vs. Leonard Bometon, was pure entertainment: one of the most stylish riders against one of the most creative. Sanoussi stacked letters on Leonard with tech moves like a 180 frontside kickless half-cab bar. But Leonard’s power tricks — including a rolling full-wheel to bar and a double-bar gap — can take out almost anyone, and he ultimately claimed the win.

The final quarterfinal saw 2024 ROTY Joel Ingold face local rider Alexandre Bailly. Joel threw down some of the biggest tricks of the round, but Alexandre’s blend of technical and creative riding proved hard to beat. After several epic exchanges, Alexandre took the victory.

Gare d’Austerlitz: Rails and Bangers

The two semifinals took place at a brand-new location: Gare d’Austerlitz.

New spot, new features, and two matchups that quickly turned into all-out banger battles.

The first semifinal was one of the most epic showdowns of this year’s Street Clash: Maty Pekarek vs. Leonard Bometon. Both riders pushed their limits on every obstacle. Maty stomped an insane inward down the big set — absolutely perfect.

But Leonard secured the win after landing a bar rewind backflip down the handrail — an unbelievable banger, especially in a game-of-scoot format.

The second semifinal featured Anthony vs. Alexandre, both known for their unmatchable tech and next-level creativity. Their battle was packed with innovative lines and never-before-seen ideas.

With that, the final matchup was set: Anthony or Leonard?

Palais de Tokyo — the iconic Paris spot and epicenter of the French scootering scene — was the perfect backdrop for the Street Clash final. But before the grand showdown, we needed to decide third place, so that battle came first.

Maty vs. Alexandre fought hard for the bronze medal. Both rode with full commitment, and Maty answered Alexandre’s tricks by landing a frontside 50 to bar on the big hubba — an unforgettable moment.
Maty took the win and claimed third place in the contest.

Then came the final battle — the last fight in Paris: Michlik vs. Bometon, France vs. France.

Both riders went straight for huge tricks from the start, and the energy was electric on both sides. They were committed, they were on fire.

One of the most epic moments of the whole contest came when Thomas landed a double bar throw down the stairs, while Anthony responded to Leonard’s trick using his Friend Card — a new addition to the format that could only be used in the final.

And of course, we’ll never forget the legendary ending: Leonard finishing the battle with a massive whip frontside 50 all the way down the big hubba. An absolute hammer to seal the victory and take the overall win.

The third Street Clash is officially a wrap — and all we can say is merci à tous!
