Hot Wheels Superchargers joins Urban World Series for another year

  • Young talent will storm the parks at UWS events in 2023 thanks to the HW Superchargers junior competition.

  • Andalucia Urban, Madrid Urban Sports and Extreme Barcelona to host junior Skate, Scooter and BMX competitions

The leading brand in toy vehicles created in 1968 by Mattel, joins forces again with Urban World Series to collaborate in promoting young talent in Urban Sports with the Hot Wheels Superchargers junior competitions, where youngsters from 6 to 14 years old will compete in three modalities of urban disciplines: Skate, Scooter and BMX.

As last year, the final of the HotWheels Superchargers will take place at Extreme Barcelona, which this year will be held from 15 to 17 September at the Parc del Fòrum.

This 2023, however, one more qualifying stop will be added to the calendar, the Andalucía Urban. The new urban sports event will host the first stop of the Hot Wheels Superchargers in Almeria, at the Cable Inglés from 5 to 7 May, where the top five in each discipline will have a direct pass to the final in Barcelona.

The second and final qualifying stop will be at the Madrid Urban Sports from 16-18 June at Madrid Rio, where also the top five in the respective disciplines will go to the Barcelona final, completing the places for the 10 junior skateboard riders, 10 junior scooter riders and 10 junior BMX riders who will give their all to take home the gold.

The ambassadors for this junior competition are renowned Spanish Olympic skateboarder Danny Leon, Tokyo BMX Olympic silver medallist Daniel Dehrs and Scooter Street World Champion Jonathan Perroni.

This project is an exciting opportunity for young urban sports talents to showcase their skills and abilities on a world-class stage where entertainment is guaranteed.
