One Week In Barcelona | Sewa Kroetkov
“One week in Barcelona from my most recent trip back to Europe. I recently went on a trip back to Europe and spent a week in Barcelona, where I caught up with my friend and filmer, Rudy Garcia.
The goal for this one-week trip was to stack enough clips for an edit. However, the overall mindset was, let’s just skate and enjoy Barcelona. It was great going back on an Euro skate trip, which has been a while for me.
The whole week was a great time skating all over Barcelona with the homies, pushing spot to spot and simply enjoying the overall vibes that Barcelona offers. This trip was, and still is the chapter in my life where I’ve taken a step back to remember and appreciate the essence of skateboarding – which to me is the freedom, fun and friendships that skateboarding has brought into my life.
Huge thanks to everybody who’s been supportive over the years! It truly means a lot! Much love!
Filmed by Rudy Garcia and edited by Chase Gabor.”

The honorable list of HG Homies has a new name: Jacob Bokelman. He’s a well-known tech wizard and phenomenal human being. If you’ve been following Hella Grip over the years, you know that skills and kindness are a perfect recipe for official ‘homieness.’ Hailing from Riverside, Jacob has been on our radar for years (we have military-grade radar equipment). He’s in cahoots with fellow So-Cal heroes and HG Homies, Ralph, Donatelli, and Nolan. That’s quite the list of references (they all wrote us recommendation letters). Jacob also knows how to work his magic with a camera, having recently shot HG Homie Nolan Shoemaker’s ‘909’ video. He runs his own car detailing business, a true testament to his clean and meticulous nature. Need I say more about this fine gentleman? So, here’s to officially welcoming Jacob Bokelman to the Hella Grip Homies. We couldn’t be more stoked to have him as part of the family. His kind soul, epic skills, and solid dedication to beautiful tricksmake every day an enchanted day. Welcome to the homies, legend!” by the Boss McMasher.”
