How are you, Natalia? Officially an Olympian for Paris 2024, how do you feel?
I feel very happy and proud to have achieved the goal of reaching Paris 2024.
What is the best and the worst (if any) of all this road to Paris 2024?
The best thing about the road to the Olympics has been all the people and countries I have met.
And the worst thing has been all the effort and sacrifice I have had to make.
Women’s sports are growing, including Skateboarding.
How do you see it?I see that every year the level rises much more both nationally (Spain) and internationally. And there are more and more girls practicing this sport, that makes me happy because it was a sport in which there were very few women and as there are more there is more, support in competitions and from brands.
You are on fire, a few months ago you won the Queen of Macba, how was the experience?
It was a really fun experience since I love street skating, but I never thought I could win it.
You took the silver medal in the Extreme Barcelona 2022 and came 4th in the MUS 2022, will we see you in September in Barcelona?
I would love to go this year so yeah, possibly we will see each other there.
What would you tell the little Natalia of a few years ago, who is just starting in the world of Skateboarding?
The Natalia of the past would never believe what I’m seeing and I would tell her to get ready for everything that lies ahead.
Who are your references or idols? In Skateboarding, in other sports and in life.
One of my references that has always given me a lot of advice and I’ve looked up to him a lot has been Ignacio Morata.
What is your favorite trick and your favorite city to skate?
Honestly, I don’t have a favorite trick, but lately I’m doing a lot of fs feeble and bigspin fs boardslide. And I really like skating in Jerez.
Thank you Natalia, big hug and good luck in Paris this weekend!
See you soon in Urban World Series.
